I just absolutely love the summer months. Many months in the year, the weather and temperature can drastically change my mood. However, in the summer I never seem to worry about it. It’s just great and I love it! :)
So I have a few goals for this month:
1. Continue Insanity. (I started at the beginning of this week)
2. Do the June Ab Challenge thing (reblogged below)
3. Continue to be Vegetarian and eat as clean as possible
4. Refrain from eating out to a minimum of 4 times this month. (Me and my boyfriends family often use restaurants for dinner options, especially when running low on food or after long days of work. I know it’s bad but that’s why I’m trying to refrain :)
That’s it! Keeping up with the exercises everyday will be a challenge for me so if I get those completed I will be a very happy camper. Good luck to everyone else and their goals!
Get ready!! Blasting Abs next month, by the end you’ll be doing a hundred sit-ups, two hundred crunches, sixty push-ups and two minutes plank!! Definitely not recommended for the weak.
p.s. can you believe it’s June next week? This year has really flown by…
I can’t wait till the day that I’m a veterinarian. I’m fortunate enough to have a high interest in a well paying job. However, I don’t look forward to having a huge house or fancy cars. In fact, I’d like the opposite. My “perfect” life would consist of: an average sized house that comfortably fits a family of 3 without too much excess room. My cars will most likely consist of being economically friendly and reliable. What I look forward to the most is being able to spurge on food. No, I don’t mean going out to eat 5 days a week. I want to be able to buy fresh produce every other day. After work, go to a local fresh market pick up a few ingredients and make a simple but amazingly healthy dinner. As much as materialistic things make us happy for the few moments we use them, they usually pale in comparison to the memories formed around a fantastic meal. Our existence is centered around eating. If there’s really one thing in life I would want to spurge on, it’d be that.
Well anyways, I have to go workout now. 5th day of Insanity here I come!
Sometimes I severely underestimate how unfit I am. Insanity day 2 kicked my butt. Nonetheless I am sweating and feel fatigued so the 70ish% of the video I actually did was worth it and is still improvement! Can’t wait for tomorrow.
I have some super awesome amazing plans for June! One of the goals I have for summer is to complete insanity. So on Monday, I’ll have my first day. I also want to do the calendar of ab workouts for June that’s floating around on Tumblr. With this, I hope to lose a bit of fat and gain some muscle. I have not decided yet if I will track my calories or not. I will however try and invest in some protein powder of some sort as well as vitamins. I really enjoy eating vegetarianism/vegan and it makes my body happy but I just worry I’m not always able to get the stuff I need.
I’m excited! woo! I started today by eating healthy and I went for a jog. Now I have some time to relax before work. Can’t wait to make this the best summer ever!
Happy National Vegetarian Week!
In honor of National Vegetarian Week, here are some resources for those of you who are considering, beginning or learning about vegetarianism.
Thank you Stephie! You’re so very helpful.
Veg-heads unite! I didn’t know it was national vegetarian week! That’s what happens when you’re gone from the world you love for like a week, haha.
Don’t let the past try to predict your future. Anything is possible.
